P & C

The Parents & Citizens (P & C) Association:

  • Gives parents an opportunity to learn about the school's policies and programs
  • Enables parents to discuss issues concerning the school
  • Provides the school with additional resources through fundraising activities

The role of the Unanderra P & C is to support the students, staff and families in providing the children with the best learning experience possible by:

  • Raising funds to purchase new learning resources and equipment
  • Organising activities to promote a sense of community between students, parents and teaching/admin staff.
  • Providing a P & C perspective on school policy by offering a forum for discussion and input by parents on issues that may arise.

P & C Meetings

  • Provide a forum for people from the school and local community to have an input into decisions regarding their school
  • Provide important information as to the running of the school, the education of our children and the ways in which we can help to continue to make UPS a great place to learn, play and work.
  • Meetings are held on a Monday once each school term in the staff room.
  • Meetings begin at 7pm and we try to keep them as short as possible.
  • The Principal/Assistant Principal is at each meeting and presents a short report.
  • To add an item to the agenda of the next P & C meeting, contact the P & C President.

New faces are always welcome. Attending meetings is a great way to meet new people, exchange ideas, and be more involved in your child's schooling.
