Our school canteen service is run by Fresh Choice Canteen. Learn about our canteen opening hours, our menu and how to order lunch.

Canteen opening times

The canteen is open at both recess and lunch on Tuesday,  Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. In 2026 it will be open five days a week.

Order from our canteen

Online recess and lunch orders are preferred via the My School Connect app by 8.45am each day or alternatively over the counter between 8.30am and 8.55am.

My School Connect App Instructions

The Canteen has an online ordering system – My School Connect.​

To sign up:​

1. Go to https://myschoolconnect.com.au
2. Click on ‘Register’, then click on ‘I’m a Parent’.
3. In the box ‘For Which School’ type Unanderra – click on this.
4. Fill in all the fields and make up a password which you will use to log in each time. Scroll down, fill in the ‘captcha’ and hit ‘submit’.
5. Add students and classes, fill in all the fields and hit ‘submit’.
6. Now you can go to the Dashboard to top up your account and start ordering by following all the prompts. Please note there is a 9am cut-off for ordering.
7. The best way to order is by using these categories: ‘Recess cold’, ‘Recess hot’, ‘Lunch cold’, ‘Lunch hot’.

What does it cost? My School Connect charges one small fee of 33c per order (which includes both recess and lunch). No other fees unless using Paypal or Credit Card.
